Caitlin Tillman, the Rotary Outbound Exchange Student, will spend her senior year of high school in Brazil next year.
The Waunakee High School junior presented the program she is working on for her host Rotary Club in Brazil so that she could get feedback.

Caitlin enthusiastically described her life in Waunakee and key points of Wisconsin culture – UW sports, Packers football, cheese, dairy, and cheeseheads.

Caitlin was born in Florida then moved to Waunakee with her parents at 3 months old, she said. She spent a semester at the Conserve School in Land O’ Lakes, on the border of Michigan and Wisconsin, and that experience inspired her to spend a year abroad. She said she loves cross country skiing, fishing and the outdoors.
At the Conserve School, she cross country skied and kayaked often, she said.

Caitlin also attended the World Affairs Seminar.

She will spend the year in Santo Andre, just south of Sao Paulo.
